CONTACT LENSES ON ONE EYE

SMOKY BROWN

Brief thoughts:
This is a small story when I did the photoshoot for this Smoky Brown… I literally thought I wore the wrong color! If you just look at the color of my eyes in the picture at a glance, the color looks more like light gray. So, all I want to say is that the Smoky Brown does make your brown eyes look a lot softer and more ashy~ You can still see a very tiny hint of light hazel color, wrapping around the corner of my black pupils. This does enlarge my eyes, thus, giving off more dimension.
SMOKY GRAY

gray
Brief thoughts:
This is definitely the typical bossy lady with an icy look contact lenses. I think this would be best if you were silver accessories with cool tone red lips. Nothing much to say about this because the color matches with the descriptions from Olens: a clear blue – ice gray with a tiny bit of hazel blend around my pupils.
SMOKY OLIVE

color
Brief thoughts:
As you can tell, my eyemakeup for the Smoky contact lenses pictures leans toward smoky, dark green, with metallic yellowish + orangy eyeshadows. It doesn’t look soft and dreamy like the Vivi Ring, but the Smoky Olive gives off more chic and doe-eyed feelings.
CONCLUSION
Out of 3 colors, here are my rating and recommendation:
- My most favorite colors: Olive = Brown = Gray (can’t rate this time haha, I love all)
- Natural looking: unlike other collections like Vivi Ring, Scandi, etc, I think if you want to wear this daily WITHOUT any eyemakeup, it might look a bit unnatural. You might need to do some sort of eye styling: wear eye makeup, for example, black eyeliner and apply your favorite mascara, then the Russian Smoky works perfectly.
- How comfortable? this collection has a larger diameter than the others: 13.3mm. Even if you are near-sighted like me, the contact lenses are still very very comfortable to “sit” on your pupils and also easy to take out. I have no problem with this when wearing it all day.
